For the year to date, net revenue for the group is £868.9m, up 12 per cent compared with the same point a year ago, while EBITDA is up 15 per cent to £182.3m.

Over-the-counter stakes for Coral Retail were down six per cent, a drop the bookmaker attributes to a smaller LBO estate – reduced two per cent, year on year.

Machine net revenue for Coral Retail was 10 per cent ahead, driven by a strong slots performance, which now accounts for 40 per cent of gross win.

Sports stakes for Eurobet Retail were up 38 per cent in the period, thanks largely to this summer’s Euro 2016 tournament and a growth in retail in-play betting.

Profit (EBITDA) for Eurobet Retail in Q3 was £5.3m, up £1.7m (47 per cent) year on year.
