A new device to heighten security in the gaming sector has been launched by Innovative Technology.
The Tamper Evident Bag System (TEBS) is for cash-in-transit situations. It validates banknotes in the normal way but then directs bills into the secure tamper evident cash bag. Each cash bag is identified by an individual barcode that when scanned will show the exact amount stored inside.
The system short-circuits the necessity for physical handling of cash, because once inserted into a machine it is then not touched again by human hands until it has reached the bank or the location’s sorting office.
