The recent appointment of former WMS Gaming chief Sebastian Salat to CEO at Zitro, the major Spanish automated bingo games manufacturer, has resulted in a fresh strategic plan for the company.

Salat unveiled his plans for the company at the Zitro Experience, a presentation of its games for the important Mexican market, held at the Mexico City National Auditorium. Company president Johnny Ortiz presented his new CEO who said that the plan for the further growth of the company was already under way. Salat said: "We will transform Zitro from a leading provider of video bingo machines for traditional casinos into a global leader in the gaming industry.”

He said that the company would present a “diversified offer of products and services for the traditional, online and social environments.”

Four basic concepts would underpin the plan, he said: the development of new traditional product lines, above and beyond video bingo, offer new business models, promote a greater presence of Zitro content in online casinos and increase Zitro’s offer for social networks.

Salat was able to announce the arrival of up to 20 new games for this year and a fresh promotion system under the Big Time brand that would enable operators to configure promotions for the dates and time slots that suit them best.

During the Mexico City event, Zitro introduced its first generation of video roller machines with a multi-game that would access markets which until now, the company had no product to offer. Salat also presented new products for online gaming and social gaming, available on Facebook, plus a Zitro Partnership Program, a new service surrounding its Big Time promotions system.
