Intercard’s debit card system is now fully integrated with the Micros Point of Sale software and hardware.
The card system, widely used in both the amusement and casino industries, will now remove the labour-intensive re-keying of information by accounting offices. At the same time, business managers will have access to sales and activity statistics with immediate effect.
Intercard is the first payment solutions provider in the FEC and bowling centre industry to offer this facility.
Micros is a product of Oracle and offers integrated software and hardware solutions for the hospitality and retail industries. The innovation means that bookkeepers will no longer have to obtain reconciliation information in a print-out. Now it is instantaneous and the information feeds into the back end of the Micros reporting apparatus.
