GameWorks has opened its seventh location and its first to offer laser tag, which includes an arena designed by Creative Works.
The new 37,000sq.ft entertainment centre is located in Denver, Colorado, US. The company wanted to wow its guests and asked Creative Works to construct a multi-level 4,000sq.ft arena.
The two companies collaboratively developed a futuristic battle theme that brought in elements of space and organic environments. Up to 24 players with equipment from LaserForce face off in an alien battle arena.
"We were looking for something very different from other operators to set ourselves apart and be a premier laser tag arena operator," said area director Darren Des Roches.
"We definitely expect increased traffic as this is an added attraction to our venue." He especially sees the laser tag attraction being the driving factor in birthday party and corporate team building packages.
The facility also offers over 160 video and prize-dispensing games, a full restaurant and bar and a private function area. The new facility will also be the third GameWorks venue to have an eSports lounge.
