Skill games and amusement equipment company HB Leisure is among a number of businesses chosen to supply the mammoth Dubai Parks and Resorts theme park destination, which is scheduled to open in October.

The UK-based company has signed a five-year revenue share deal with the park operator to provide skill games to provide additional attractions for visitors to the parks.
Along with HB Leisure, Dubai Parks and Resorts has signed agreements with Scooterbug, Best Lockers and Penny Press Factory to provide games, attractions and services across its three theme parks – motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai and Legoland Dubai.
Penny Press Factory, which is also based in the UK, will provide souvenir coin machines, while ScooterBug, from the US, will deliver children’s strollers and a range of electric mobility vehicles. Fellow US company Best Lockers is to provide electronic locker facilities for visitors to safely store their personal belongings.
“Along with providing guests with unrivalled and unforgettable experiences at our parks, we are also focused on ensuring long-term revenue-generating opportunities for our shareholders,” said Stanford Pinto, chief parks operating officer at Dubai Parks and Resorts. “The partnership agreements with our third-party vendors will offer a wide range of additional services to ensure visitors experience the very best in theme park entertainment across the destination.”
The new park is to open with 100 rides and attractions across its three theme parks and water park.
