The first board meeting of Adp UK, the Gauselmann Group subsidiary, was held at Blueprint’s new offices in Newark on Wednesday.

Although an official opening is due on Friday, March 11, Gauselmann main board director Jürgen Stühmeyer staged a ribbon-cutting for InterGame (pictured).

The new headquarters covers 10,000 square feet, double the size of the old premises – also in Newark – and, said Simon Barff, managing director of Blueprint Machines, “reflects the continued expansion of the Gauselmann Group in this country generally and of Blueprint in particular.”

The company’s new offices will house 75 members of staff, up by one-third in the past year, comprising extra programming, graphics, engineering and customer service specialists.

It was Stühmeyer’s first visit to the new premises, where he and group CFO Lars Felderhoff were met by Blueprint Gaming’s managing director Matt Cole and his team. Their meetings were also attended by Sascha Blodau, managing director of Adp UK, Simon Barff, Mark White, managing director of Regal Gaming, and Sophie Pope, financial director at Blueprint.

Said Cole: “The new offices (in Northern Road, Newark) were badly needed. The old premises simply weren’t large enough for the expanding company and were inconveniently positioned over two floors.”
