US-based Main Event Entertainment has opened its second family entertainment centre in Phoenix, Arizona.

The new centre is Main Event’s 23rd location nationwide and brings more than 100 jobs to the community.

“Main Event is the ultimate entertainment destination for families, friends and large groups who seek variety but still want to have a shared experience,” said vice president of marketing Sherri Landry. “We’ve received an enthusiastic response from the Avondale community and we welcome everyone to come and discover Main Event’s ‘Eat.Bowl.Play.’ experience.”

At more than 58,000sq.ft, the Avondale centre includes 26 lanes of bowling, a multi-level laser tag arena and a gravity ropes course suspended over a games room featuring more than 100 interactive and virtual games.

Main Event opened its first Arizona location in Tempe in 2014. Described as “unrivalled in quality” by industry analysts, the company plans to open new centres in Fort Worth in Texas, Louisville in Kentucky, Albuquerque in New Mexico and Cincinnati by June.
