The ExCeL exhibition centre in London has once again played host to a successful first day for the 2016 EAG International expo.
The EAG show has begun its seventh year to a largely positive reception, with several company representatives expressing their delight at the turnout at the exhibition. “Response to all of our products has already been very positive,” said Electrocoin’s Kevin Weir. “It’s a bit early to say whether our newer products will have the same kind of effect, but today’s impression was a good one.” Every year EAG sees companies from across the gaming industry, from ticket redemption and video game manufacturers, to suppliers of AWPs and bingo solutions, coming together in the UK capital for three days of networking and product launches. Despite the event occurring so soon in 2016, the general consensus seems to be that the footfall has increased in comparison to last year. Michael Green, sales director at UDC, said: “Compared to 2015, I think today has been a much better first day. Our stand is a lot busier. Based on today’s performance, I am very much looking forward to the rest of the week.”
