UK industry stakeholders and members of the public are being invited to have their say on where gaming machines can be played as part of a new consultation launched by the Gambling Commission.

The Commission considers that the current licence conditions and codes of practice and the accompanying guidance to licensing authorities need to be revised in order to meet its policy objectives of minimising gambling-related harm.

The consultation – Controlling where gaming machines may be played – sets out why this area remains a policy priority for the

Commission and also proposes how it can embed its policy objectives “consistently across the industry.”
