Word is filtering through to us that arguably the biggest launch at the upcoming IAAPA trade show in Orlando (November 17-20) will be a new game from Sega.
The freshly-renamed company – now Sega Amusements International – will debut a new centrepiece video that will incorporate two of the biggest characters in video games – plus the Olympics.
The company has been playing its cards close to its chest, but we understand that the new game will feature Mario from Nintendo, the consumer games industry’s top character, plus Sonic the Hedgehog, the major coin-op video games character, in a new quest with the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, set for next year, as the backdrop.
