The newest location in the 360 Play chain, run by DP Leisure, is set to open at Basildon, Essex, near London.

It will be the fourth and largest in the group, following the launch of operations in Milton Keynes, Stevenage and Leicester.

The new location covers 28,000sq.ft over two floors and occupies a former night club at the Basildon Festival Leisure Park.

Dedicated for children aged two to 12, the location’s equipment is largely built in-house by DP Leisure. The play structure is from the Soft Brick Company and is 10ft tall, wrapping around a mezzanine floor and has a slide beginning 4.8m above the rest of the main floor.

There is a dodgem car track, rope climbs, ball pits, bridges, wave deck and portholes, carousel, climbing wall and some play shops including supermarket, pizza parlour, veterinary surgery, fire station and garage.

The suppliers of equipment include Italy’s IE Park and the UK’s Innovative Leisure.
