JCM celebrated its 60th anniversary at the G2E trade show in Las Vegas last week, sharing a huge cake and champagne with a large group of customers and staff.

Tom Nieman, vice-president of sales and marketing for JCM Global, addressing the gathering, said: “This is an exciting day for us; we are celebrating a 60-year heritage and that doesn’t happen every day.”

The CEO of the company, Yojiro Kamihigashi, son of the founder, was introduced and noted that his father had the vision “to create a company which would constantly evolve and grow and be responsive to its customers.” He thanked customers present on the booth for their support.

Kamihigashi was followed by the newly-appointed president, Hikrau Izawa, formerly the COO. Tom Nieman had noted that Izawa had a long and distinguished career at JCM Global, joining the company 30 years ago. Izawa, known popularly as "Terry,”  thanked both customers and in particular the staff for their support and hard work which had brought the company to its 60th successful year.

Nieman said: “It takes many people to be successful and with the people we have the next 60 years will be even more exciting.”
