Harry Levy is an internationally-known manufacturer and supplier of amusement and redemption games, formed over 30 years ago with a strong background in coin pusher machines. Crown Leisure is a long-standing distributor of amusement equipment and Category C (AWP) machines as well as Category D, which are well known in seaside arcades.

Crown operates out of offices and showrooms in Wigan, Lancashire, England and out of Galashiels in Scotland. Crown also operates a number of adult gaming centres and family entertainment centres located in holiday parks, on seaside piers and seafront locations around the UK.

Crown managing director Dean Harding (pictured) said: “I would like to thank Cuerden Leisure and Hemway for the last 12 years that I have had the pleasure of working for them. During that time the market has changed enormously, and while there have been some challenging times, the support from Hemway and the Hemming’s family has always been superb.”

Talking about the future, Harding added: “The outlook for us as part of Harry Levy Amusements is very exciting. We have a strong team at Crown and with the support of a new parent company with the coin-op business at its heart, it will allow us to step up to the next level, investing into all the new opportunities that lie ahead.”

Of the acquisition, Harry Levy said: “We have worked with Crown as a customer for many years. During this time we have grown to respect their collective knowledge, ability to market and sell games, and the outstanding quality and high standard of their machine operation. When the opportunity arose to acquire Crown it didn’t take any time for us to make a decision.

“I am delighted to have Dean and his team on board and both Matthew Deith and I look forward to working closely with them to take our business forward.”
