Swan Events has announced a number of changes to next January’s EAG International expo, including new opening times.

The event, held at the ExCeL centre in London, is taking place on January 12-14.
“From the outset, BACTA wanted to ensure EAG was ‘a show for the industry by the industry’ and this has differentiated it from other events,” said show organiser Karen Cooke. “We spend a great deal of time listening to the wishes and suggestions of exhibitors, visitors and others from within the industry. This activity takes place within structured working groups and on an informal basis, underpinning everything we do.
“As a direct result of such feedback, we have made some changes and improvements to the 2016 show, affecting both opening times and the traditional show party.”
The show opening times will now be 10am – 6pm on the first two days, followed by 10am – 4pm on the final day.
The after-show event held at the Fox bar will now take place on the Wednesday, starting at 6pm. The move from the first night is expected to offer greater networking opportunities and provide “some welcome R&R.”
