Ticket redemption continues to drive revenues in the Middle East’s family entertainment centres, it has been claimed.

These games currently occupy more than 60 per cent of the FEC games selection in venues in the Middle East, due, said Yuhanis Nawasreh of Warehouse of Games, to the demand from FEC visitors and the high income these games generate for operators.

This trend is only likely to continue in the years ahead, he told InterGame.

“I believe the demand for this game category will increase over the coming years, since all operators realise the importance and strength of ticket redemption games at their centres, keeping in mind the different play methods and all new ideas these games can offer to players, both kids and adults,” he said.

Yuhanis Nawasreh was speaking to InterGame as part of our annual International Redemption Report, which will be included in the forthcoming July issue.
