Revenue at Australian gaming group Tabcorp increased 3.3 per cent in the third quarter of the 2015 financial year.

The company, which conducts wagering activities under the TAB brand in Victoria and New South Wales, recorded revenue of AU$508.7m (£265m) for the three-month period, taking its year-to-date revenue to $1.6bn.

Revenue from its wagering and media business stood at $440.6m, while its gaming services arm - TGS - contributed $50.7m. The latter signed two new venues in NSW during the quarter and successfully extended a number of contracts from five-year to 10-year arrangements in Victoria. Approximately 80 per cent of TGS’ Victorian machine base is now contracted through to 2022.
