Embed displayed its emONE card system vendor, Benchmark Games provided its prize delivery system Prize Station and a Monster Drop Single, and Tricorp Amusements, a nationwide amusement service provider to the theatre industry, offered its operating experiences with both the Embed system and Prize Station products.

“Our booth had an actual game room set up,” said Anthony Maniscalco, VP of sales at Benchmark Games. “The visitors were walked through the entire process to understand the efficiency and simplicity of this new entertainment solution.”

Lisa Chapman of Helix Leisure was on hand to demonstrate the new emONE play card vendor and said: “Once the visitor understood the easy and intuitive guest interaction that emONE provided, they quickly grasped the entire unattended, card swipe solution.”

From the emONE, Maniscalco then ushered visitors to the Monster Drop Single to demonstrate how the credit was taken from the card and the points/tickets won were added to the card. Then it was on to the Prize Station, where visitors were able to redeem points from the card for prizes.

Tricorp president Chuck Pietz and executive vice president of business development Joe Ingui capped off the product demonstration by highlighting the benefits of this new redemption solution, based on their experience of operating these systems in major theatres across the country.

“We have seen actual revenues soar over 30-40 per cent above the traditional video game/merchandiser game rooms,” said Pietz.

“We have piloted numerous debit card systems in the theatre industry recently and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive,” added Ingui. “There is great opportunity for those seeking a change in their current game room line-up.”
