Another $590m is to be invested by major Dubai-based shopping malls operator Majid Al Futtaim into Egypt.
The multi-faceted business group already has investments in Egypt, but notably has a string of family entertainment centres located under the Magic Planet brand in shopping malls all over the Middle East.
The latest announcement comprises four new shopping complexes in greater Cairo, the introduction of VOX cinemas into them, and almost certainly more Magic Planets, in a programme destined to take up the next five years.
