Coastal Amusements is “excited” with the early results from its new game Yahtzee, which will be on show at the Amusement Expo in Las Vegas next month.

Yahtzee - Coastal Amusement

Licensed from Hasbro, the video skill redemption game sees players roll dice by popping the balls on the playfield to make their Yahtzee score. After selecting which to keep, the player has the chance to pop one more time to make the best possible score.

Colour-coded select buttons match where the balls land so, with a little luck and a strategy, players can have their scores added up over five games to win a bonus prize. When five of a kind are rolled, they win the progressive bonus.

Up to eight Yahtzee games can be linked together to build the progressive bonus at a rapid pace.

“We are extremely excited and very pleased with initial earning reports,” said Lenny Dean, president of Coastal. “Yahtzee is an immediately recognisable brand that draws the players’ attention. Once they recognise the game and experience the play, we got ‘em!”

The Amusement Expo is taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center on March 25-26.
