Ladbrokes is set to announce the closure of up to 60 shops, The Sunday Times reports.
These latest closures will be announced in a trading update due for release on Thursday, February 26, and will take the total number of net closures in the past year to 150.
Ladbrokes began the reduction in its retail estate a year ago, announcing up to 50 shop closures in February 2014. That move was followed by another 40 closures announced in October.
At that time, Ladbrokes said further closures were “inevitable.” The latest reduction will leave Ladbrokes with 2,150 LBOs.
