At 157,000sq.ft, the Helio Center is now Vietnam’s largest FEC. It opened its doors on Wednesday of this week. The FEC has an additional 2.5 acres of outdoor fun as well.
The location is at Da Nang, on the coast midway between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and has a catchment area of over a million attracted by Da Nang’s tourist area and beaches.
The Helio Center was designed by American company White Hutchinson Leisure, which said that the work had taken 18 months to bring to fruition. It contains both adult-oriented and family attractions. There are 14 lanes of bowling and an indoor ice rink, four major rides, a soft-play area, 150 redemption and other games, indoor go-karts, 19 karaoke rooms, party rooms, a live acts stage, café and food court. Outdoors there is a children’s play garden, cafes, restaurant village, children’s boating school and motorcycle driving school and bumper boats.
There are 600 staff to attend to a maximum of 4,000 guests at any one time. The games and attractions are tied together with an Embed debit card system.
