The Mall of Qatar – which will be the largest of its kind to open in the country – is to feature a new family entertainment centre concept.

Set to open towards the end of 2015, the mall is to include 400 shops, four anchor stores, a five-star hotel and more than 80 restaurants and cafes. It will also boast the largest cinema complex in Qatar and an entertainment facility named Q-Live.

Said Shem Krey, deputy managing director: “Mall of Qatar will be introducing a number of unique elements into our project that have not been seen in the Middle East before, from the innovative format of our anchor hypermarket to our daily Q-Live entertainment facility and family entertainment centre that will be debuting formats for the first time that will delight young and old.” Mall of Qatar is being constructed only a short drive from the centre of Doha on a site adjacent to one of the planned stadiums for the 2022 Football World Cup.
