Following a seminar, held earlier in the month by JayBox in Leeds, UK, MDM Leisure has won the rights to distribute the JayBox jukebox in the UK and Ireland.
Having supplied the amusement industry for 30 years, this is the first time MDM Leisure has had an exclusive music offer.
Mark Lewis, sales director of MDM, said: "We’ve looked at jukeboxes offered in recent years and not really found anything which excited us, until we started looking at JayBox a couple of months ago at the request of one of our customers.
"We plan to site two machines at our Cardiff and Basildon depots in early August and will start to familiarise our team with the product before they take it to the operators."
Following the success of the recent seminar, Richard Elsy, marketing director of JayBox, added: "We are planning a number of activities, including technical seminars for operators around the country, as well as another presentation similar to the one at the Selby Fork Hotel last month."
