Canada’s Triotech has shipped its 1,000th unit of its coin-op simulator Typhoon.
The first Typhoon came on the market in December 2008 and its motion technology has been the springboard for the company’s expansion into larger footprint attractions, such as its XD Theatre, XD Dark Ride and Interactive Dark Ride.
“Today, the Typhoon remains a solid part of our portfolio,” said president and CEO Ernest Yale.
Reaching this landmark coincides with the 2014 AMOA Amusement Expo taking place in Las Vegas, US, this week.
