The three-player Bank Vault Ten or Ton game made such an impression at EAG that Electrocoin managed to digitise it for its leading compendium Vegas Strip in time for the ICE show last week.

The game starts off with the player having to build up the nudge bank. Win enough nudges and the player is offered a £5 prize. However, if they turn down the win they can try to open up the Vault via the words Ten or Ton on the reels. Once the Vault is open – a higher win may be offered – or the chance to turn that into the top prize.

“We had someone working on this day and night for a week to get it ready for ICE and it has received a really great reception,” said Electrocoin’s Kevin Weir.

Also receiving plenty of attention on the Electrocoin stand were the self-service tablets which are designed to be permanently on display and available to play on the arcade or betting shop floor.

“These are the first completely self-service tablets in the market,” said the company’s Gabbino Stergides. “People use a kiosk to put money onto the tablet and to collect their winnings.”

The gaming tablets also feature an innovative tournament play mode, where up to 20 tablets can be put onto free play for a set period of time in order for players to win a bonus card or a prize. “It’s great marketing and a brilliant way to get people into arcades,” added Stergides.
