Terry Farr is to move on from UK-based distributor AMG Leisure, he confirmed at EAG International in London last week.

As his current contract with AMG draws to a close, he revealed that he is leaving to explore new projects.

“I was initially only on a year-long consultancy contract with AMG but things went well and we extended it to two,” he said. “Now the time has come for me to spread my wings again and I intend to expand my other business interests including my consultancy company.

“I would like to thank the team at AMG for a great experience. Together, we have achieved a lot. The AMG sales team is without doubt one of the best in our industry and is well placed to maximise the new opportunities that came about last year when the company secured major distribution lines, notably Scientific Gaming and Blueprint Gaming.”

Farr is aiming to use his industry experience gained in the operation, distribution and manufacturing fields. He is looking forward to working directly with companies within the coin-op and gaming sectors, as well as brokering agreements with companies looking for strategic partnerships.

AMG's joint MD, Mark Sowray, said: “Terry is a well-respected and long-serving member of our industry with a great eye for detail and having him on board through these two years has been very helpful.”
