Canadian family entertainment centre Bingemans has opened the Kingpin Lounge, a 28-lane bowling venue located in Ontario.
The 43,000sq.ft facility features Brunswick bowling technology alongside a Playdium Game Center.
“While we do well with small children, we found we were losing them as they got older because they no longer wanted to interact with younger kids,” company president Mark Bingeman said. “We’d capture some of the older kids, but they’d soon lose interest; so, we were looking for ways to keep them entertained as well as looking for an activity to offer people of all ages.”
Having toured several Brunswick locations, the operator determined that bowling complements its other activities.
“From a business planning standpoint, we felt Brunswick really understood the entertainment aspect of the business. Plus, we get the best after-service from them,” he added.
