Euromat, the federation of European coin machine trade associations, is planning a conference, specifically for land-based gaming, in Amsterdam in May.

The Sofitel Grand Amsterdam has been selected as the venue, on May 28. Around 128 places are available for the gaming industry at the European Gaming Summit and a range of speakers is now being appointed.

It will be the first such event and is aimed at “setting the policy and business agenda for the years ahead, reinforcing key relationships between its main stakeholders and improving the commercial performance of the sector overall.”

John White, chief executive of UK trade association, BACTA, said: “We are looking forward to the Euromat Gaming Summit and hope that there will be strong UK turnout. As one of the principal markets in Europe it is important we share our experiences with our European colleagues and learn from theirs. This helps both commercially and politically as we shape our collective futures.”
