Growth over the past two years has required expansion of its manufacturing facilities in the UK, New Zealand and China and  co-founder John Targett predicts further international expansion in 2017.

“The international success of Clip ‘n Climb is testimony to the company’s commitment to quality and innovation,” he said. “That commitment and a deep understanding of the market has resulted in the emergence of Clip ‘n Climb as a genuine global brand.”

Conceived in Christchurch, New Zealand, the company’s brand of climbing attractions are enjoyed by people in over 30 countries, including Colombia, China, South Africa and Finland. Climbing has now become a popular mainstream activity, said Targett, and the company estimates that close to five million people currently enjoy challenging fun at Clip ‘n Climb centres each year.

The opening of the new centre was celebrated at the European Clip ‘n Climb Owners Conference in December 2016.
