The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has chosen Great Canadian Gaming and its institutional partner Brookfield to operate the gaming facilities in the Greater Toronto Area.
The OLG has granted the partners its "GTA Bundle" as part of the modernisation of its casino operations.
It has three facilities generating gaming revenues of over CAD$1bn, with 4,000 slots, 60 table games and with 2,200 staff.
GCG and Brookfield will take over all the gaming assets in a purchase deal and have the exclusive rights to them for 22 years.
