Interblock has signed a deal with Foxwoods Resort Casino, North America’s largest resort casino, to reinvent a section of the casino floor with the award-winning Pulse Arena product, under the name Play Arena.
The revolutionary social gaming experience opened in July in Foxwoods' Great Cedar Casino. “That a casino as well-respected as Foxwoods is investing in the Pulse Arena is something we take seriously at Interblock,” said global CEO John Connelly.
“Foxwoods has constructed a dedicated environment within the casino to optimise the features of the Pulse Arena, while taking advantage of Foxwoods' many premium features to drive incremental revenue.”
Players are able to play up to three games at once in the Play Arena with a choice of live baccarat, blackjack and roulette. These live games are dealt by “dealertainers” located at the front of the arena that physically spin the roulette wheel and turn physical cards to determine the win.
If players are not close enough to see the generators from where they are sitting, they can watch the action through a live feed on their play station or on the massive video wall located at the front of the space. In the Play Arena players can enjoy both an individual experience or play socially with friends. “It offers guests the most fun and exciting gaming experience in a social setting where friends can play and win together,” said Foxwoods chief Felix Rappaport. “The stress-free environment allows players of all levels to learn new games at a relaxed pace. It signals a landmark for the resort as Foxwoods continues to solidify its status as a national gaming leader with cutting-edge technology.”
