Apex Gaming has broken into the Greek market just a year after obtaining a licence to supply casinos there and several months of testing in the field.

The Greek casino market remains one of the most important and challenging in Europe, despite the uncertain economic times.

The number of slot gaming machine suppliers to the Greek casino market is limited and the barriers of entry are high to new suppliers.

The Regency Entertainment Group has reported excellent feedback from its casinos in Thessaloniki and in Athens. This feedback will be used by further casino operators in Greece.

Dimitris Kristallis, slots director at Regency Casino in Thessaloniki, said: “Entering the Greek casino market is probably the hardest challenge for any slot machine manufacturer in Europe. Our players are used to the very best. I am pleased that Apex belongs to this illustrious list.”

Johannes Weissengruber, CEO and founder of Apex Gaming, said: “We are very proud to have gained such feedback from Regency Entertainment. Being successful in the Greek casino market sends out a strong signal and further strengthens our position within the industry.”
