After a considerable success at the ICE Totally Gaming show in London, a specially-developed electronic bingo is now set to make its appearance in UK bingo halls.

Bingo Bingo

The game, with its live ball selection cage mounted on the top, was developed for the British market by casino entrepreneurs Jimmy and Simon Thomas, together with Spanish expert Marcos Marugan. They have partnered to set up World Bingo Tech, dedicated to bringing the new game to British casinos.

The main benefit of the new game, said Marugan, is that it does not impact the number of slots permitted in a British casino.

A hybrid game, it uses the bingo cage to initiate an electronic game on the monitor housed in the cabinet; the game is actually a roulette table, the bingo cage randomly providing the number instead of a roulette wheel.

An initial 20 of the games have now been located in British casinos, built in Spain by major manufacturer R Franco.
