In Louisiana, US, Pinnacle Entertainment’s latest casino project, L’Auberge Casino and Hotel Baton Rouge, has opened its doors.

The $368m property held an official opening on Saturday, during which Baton Rouge Mayor-President Melvin Holden, Pinnacle president and CEO Anthony Sanfilippo and other company executives participated in a ceremonial throw of the dice.

"This opening is the result of diligent work by an immensely skilled group of leaders at a property now brought to life on this exciting day for Pinnacle and Baton Rouge by our talented and enthusiastic team members," said Sanfilippo. "We thank the citizens of Baton Rouge for their vote of confidence and look forward to being a vital part of regional tourism and the local community."

L'Auberge Baton Rouge features a single-level, 74,000sq.ft casino with around 1,500 slot machines and 50 table games. The property also boasts a poker room, a hotel and four dining outlets.
