Nevada’s casinos saw gaming win improve by nearly 20 per cent in January.

The state’s Gaming Control Board reported that gaming win generated by licensed casinos stood at $877.3m – an increase of 18.37 per cent on the same month a year earlier.

For the fiscal year running from July 1, 2011, to January 31, 2012, gaming win has increased 3.69 per cent.

In January, the Las Vegas Strip led the way with a 29.16 per cent jump in gaming win, followed by the North Las Vegas region.
