Georg Steiner, formerly of Amatic Industries, said it was a “pleasure” to join DRGT as senior business development director.

“DRGT powered by Systems in Progress is bringing great systems solutions to the gaming world and this company is very much in growth mode,” he told InterGaming at this month's SAGSE Buenos Aires show in Argentina. “These are exciting times and I am honoured to be on board.”

The Belgian company had the opportunity to present its whole range of systems solutions at the show, including cashless, TITO, accounting and jackpots. Demand for its products, explained Steiner, has really taken off since the company exhibited at ICE in London.

“The fact that DRGT provides systems solutions for all slots - regardless of age or manufacture, regardless of whether they are reel-based or video slots – has opened up systems to a much larger section of the gaming world. It is cost-effective to link slots even when an operator has just one arcade. Naturally, DRGT powered by SiP can link slots in multiple arcades up and down the country. This is completely compatible with the systems solutions of SiP – both are serverless. That is why these two companies coming together is bringing great synergies to the market.”

Latin America is a major focus for the company, which has already exhibited at several expos in the region. The interest shown in its products at SAGSE was excellent, he added.

“Exhibiting for the first time at an event is always special and we were excited by the warm welcome and the size of the show. We are busy creating our structure in Latin America to best serve these countries. Latin America presents a whole range of opportunities to DRGT.”
