IGT’s sbX casino management system has been approved by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, paving the way for its use in the state’s casinos.

More than 50 casinos in 11 countries have partnered with IGT for this server-based technology, which is designed to meet the needs of any casino floor.

sbX system applications include IGT Floor Manager and IGT Media Manager. IGT Floor Manager allows on-demand access to more than leading 300 titles in the IGT Game Library, the industry's largest game-to-system game library, and enables operators to reconfigure a casino floor with the touch of a button. With the IGT Media Manager application, operators can quickly refresh media displays with customisable marketing messages that target the right players at the right time for differentiated player experiences, allowing casinos to maximise the impact of limited player loyalty and marketing budgets.

"IGT is thrilled to have our award-winning sbX server-based gaming system approved for casino gaming properties in Pennsylvania, especially as sbX continues to gain momentum by simplifying operations and maximising performance for casino operators worldwide," said Richard Yim, IGT vice president of systems products.

"Pennsylvania casino operators are now able to use this powerful and versatile system to manage their slot gaming floors while also developing unique and differentiated entertainment experiences for their players. Players want choice today and sbX lets operators stay agile in an increasingly competitive casino market."
