In the US, the Mississippi Gaming Commission has approved Boyd Gaming's plans to acquire the IP Casino Resort Spa in Biloxi.
In June, Boyd announced that it was to purchase the casino from Imperial Palace of Mississippi and Key Largo Holdings for $278m. Following the board’s approval, the transaction is expected to close on October 4.
