With a raft of new product and major new installations across North America, these are exciting times for Bally Technologies, said Dan Savage, the company's vice president of marketing.

The launch of Bally’s family of five Pro Series cabinets has been a "big milestone" for the company and has been well received by customers, he told InterGaming.

"Now that the hardware is in place it’s all about providing compelling content and play mechanics," he continued. "This platform has changed the way our developers make products and it shows in our content, art and performance in the field.

"We’re in the middle of launching a deep library of game content for our series of Pro Series cabinets - these are exciting times at Bally."

At next month’s G2E Las Vegas, Bally will be showcasing its new Grease game, based on the hit movie, as well as another Betty Boop game called Fortune Teller.

The introduction of its Pro Curve cabinet, meanwhile, will be a "game changer."

"It looks just like a traditional spinning reel machine, but is actually a curved high-definition LCD screen," Savage said. "We’ll be showing 17 Pro Curve titles at G2E with several new play mechanics like Big Bang free games, Rolling Wilds and Breakthrough free games."

This will be accompanied by the company’s iDeck, which it says replaces the traditional button deck with a touchscreen deck to offer greater player interaction.

"This year at G2E we’ll be showing off the next level with games that allow players to spin things, throw things, roll things and shoot things from the iDeck up to the main screen," Savage added.

"It’s a great new experience for players and the levels of entertainment continue to evolve."
