Taiwan-based cabinet manufacturer Weche made its debut at ICE this year, having previously only attended the show as visitors.

"This year we recognised that it is a good opportunity for us to meet with our clients face-to-face," said Angela Yang, section manager for the company\‘s sales department. "From our experience so far, we have achieved what we wanted to achieve, which is to meet with more international clients than we have before."

Weche is one of the world\‘s leading cabinet manufacturers and certainly among the most established gaming manufacturers in Taiwan. With over 30 years\’ experience, the company\‘s technical and manufacturing expertise sets it apart from many of its peers.

The company has moved each stage of the assembly and production process in house to enable it to totally monitor quality control and ensure that it meets its customers\’ expectations.

By moving its woodwork facility in-house, Weche is now in a position to deliver not only cabinets for the gaming industry but for the amusement market as well. By doing so, it is expanding its capacity to enable it to focus on both markets in the future.

"In Asia, our clients are the big manufacturers and in Europe we focus on medium-sized companies," Yang explained. "We aim to continue to expand our business in Europe and to put greater effort into the US and South American markets.
"Maybe by attending local trade shows we can expand and raise the profile of our company."
