Club Hotel Casino Loutraki in Greece has announced that all future slot machine purchases will specify the MEI Cashflow SC note validator.

This decision was the result of a successful value-added trial of the product, Casino management decided to carry out an extensive trial of the Cashflow SC note validator and Dimitris Gkionis, head slot technician at the casino, and his team noticed an increase in performance that MEI’s validator brought to the casino floor. "Experience has shown us that new technology has to prove itself 100 per cent before we can be prepared to embrace it. The MEI Cashflow SC VAT illustrated clear benefits - leading us to specify MEI on all future slot purchases," said Gkionis.

Slot machine manufacturers have already been informed of the management decision at the casino. Over 400 of the 1,020 slots on the casino floor are already fitted with MEI.

"We expect the MEI share to rise to over 70 per cent in the next two years as major slot purchases follow," explained Vangelis Dimou, slot director at Club Hotel Casino Loutraki. "The note validator is the port of entry for the slot machines and is essential to our success. MEI provided excellent product training and carried out the initial installation very professionally. The note acceptance is the best we have ever seen on a note validator.  It is practically maintenance-free. We did not have any problems or malfunctions. The MEI Cashflow SC is a big step forward in note validation technology."

Mark Greenawalt, vice president of gaming at MEI EMEA, added: "We are truly proud that Club Hotel Casino Loutraki is specifying our Cashflow SC note validator on all future slots purchases. This decision carries extreme weight in the global casino environment."
