Atronic has installed its popular linked progressive, Stargate SG-1 at six casinos across Switzerland.

Stargate slots have this year been launched at Grand Casino Bern, Locarno, Bad Ragaz and most recently Grand Casino Basel. Further installations are planned at Casino Barriérede Montreux and Grand Casino Lugano.

Available on the premium double screen e_ or e_ slant cabinet, and based on the blockbuster movie and internationally popular TV series, Stargate SG-1 offers five distinct bonuses and four progressive levels.

The Stargate games have been busy since installation and are performing well across the country. At Casino Locarno, Stargate SG-1 is one of the top performers and is improving the total floor average.

Grand Casino Bern is also experiencing high traffic on the machines, according to Gerhard Stiegler, technical director at Grand Casino Bern.
"Stargate SG-1’s attractive signage and compelling graphics draw players to this game," he said. "At the same time, the randomly triggered bonuses keep them intrigued and entertained. Stargate has been a great investment for Grand Casino Bern."

Grand Casino Basel unveiled the new games last month and slot manager Eugenio di Palma said the new games have drawn in the crowds.
"Grand Casino Basel is always committed to offering the best player experience and the most exciting gaming products to our guests," he said.

"It’s great to see players getting excited to enter the jackpot bonus and we are confident that the new Stargate SG-1 slot machines will continue to be a success for our casino."

Virginie Bellaton, regional sales manager for Atronic, added: "We are very pleased that numerous casinos in Switzerland have chosen our multi-bonus progressive link Stargate SG-1 and that the games have immediately proven successful with Swiss players, just as they have elsewhere."
