July 2010 saw The Pallagames Group take delivery of Mauritius's first MultiPLAY Table by TCS John Huxley.

Gaming regulations in the country prohibit certain gaming venues from offering traditional roulette to their customers, which prompted Paul Moutou, operations director of the Pallagames Group, to choose MultiPLAY as a way of bridging the gap created by these policies.

The introduction of MultiPLAY to Trianon Casino, one of four Palladium casinos in Mauritius, offers players the feel of traditional roulette with the benefits of increased spins per hour and total game security for the operator.

"The purchase of the MultiPLAY Roulette was an obvious choice for the management of Pallagames," said Moutou. "In only a few days we have already noticed the vast impact this product has created for our brand. We are now able to tap into a market that was previously reserved to only a select group of casinos. I believe we are also the first casino in the world to offer a completely cashless MultiPLAY Roulette table coupled with the Gemini Auto Wheel wheel."

Touch Table MultiPLAY Roulette uses the latest 56ins Quad HD LCD screen to give a life-like representation of the layout and new touch ID technology, which identifies each individual player and their betting activity. All chip handling calculation of winnings and payout functions are also fully automated by the system.

John Whiskin, managing director of TCS John Huxley Africa, said: "The resounding success of the MultiPLAY Roulette in Africa, in conjunction with requests received from operators, prompted us to introduce a fully cashless version for our customers. The cashless version enables players to buy in and cash out, either with the dealer or at the cash desk, thereby eliminating any form of chip movement."
