As renovation work on the Hippodrome in London's West End gathers momentum, the project's leader, Simon Thomas, is finalising the plans for the casino's gaming offering.

Thomas said that all of the industry’s major equipment suppliers are keen to be involved in what will be a state-of-the-art and no doubt very high-profile casino.

"We’re talking to all the usual suppliers, plus a couple of slightly more unusual ones," he explained. "We’ve been out into the States and Macau recently and are going on another tour after the summer to really see the best of how everything is being operated worldwide. The gaming equipment is on a three to six-month lead time and we’ll be firming up our orders towards the end of this year."
