Macau continued its remarkable resurgence with casino gaming revenue rising 65 per cent in June.

Figures from the enclave’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau revealed revenues rose to 13.6bn patacas ($1.69bn) in June, up from 8.27bn patacas in the corresponding month last year.

For the first six months of the year, total revenues increased 66.9 per cent to 85.9bn patacas, with May proving to be the strongest month with revenue soaring 94.1 per cent to 17bn patacas.
