Aristocrat enjoyed a positive showing at the third Latin American Gaming Exhibition held in Mexico City, Mexico on May 6-7.

Carlos Carrion, director of sales and operations for the company in Mexico, said the show provided an opportunity to meet with the most important operators in the region.

"Also, with the show a lot of operators realised that it is very important to deal directly with Aristocrat and buy or lease original products from the manufacturer instead of getting them second-hand where they are not guaranteed and support is not offered," he told InterGaming. "The regulation changes that will take place in Mexico during this year need to be supported by the manufacturer and it will be important to have a direct relationship with us.

"The trade show appearance coincides with the opening of Aristocrat’s new office in Mexico City. The decision to open the Mexico City office was announced late last year as part of the company’s Play To Win strategy, under which more emphasis was being placed on the North American continent, from Mexico to Canada."
