Bally Technologies announced that its industry-leading innovation has again been recognised by independent judges for innovation, earning top honours in two awards competitions.

In the Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Technology Products Awards for 2009, Bally was one of only two companies with three entries that made the list.

A panel of expert judges evaluated more than 80 entries before narrowing down the list to 21 products. Bally’s winning products were the Cash Spin game featuring U-Spin and Interactive Reels technology; Bally Business Intelligence data-analysis solution; and the Bally Command Center server-based solution for floor-configuration management.

The Top 20 winners were due to be honoured at the Gaming Technology Summit held on May 25-26 at Green Valley Ranch Resort and Casino in Henderson, Nevada, US.

Bally also recently took top honours in the 2010 Slot Floor Technology Awards, winning two of the 10 awards in the yearly contest that is also evaluated by a panel of independent industry experts. Bally’s Cash Spin game with U-Spin gesture-control technology and Bally Command Center server-based floor management solution were chosen among the top 10 out of 47 products submitted by 18 different companies.

"It’s exciting to see this kind of third-party endorsement for our games and systems innovation, which is a reflection of our commitment to delivering the most cutting-edge and high-performing technology to our customers," said Richard Haddrill, Bally’s chief executive officer.

"Although we are proud of the awards and the recognition, it is even more gratifying for us to see these products at our customers’ facilities, enabling them to run their businesses more efficiently, drive additional play, and generate excitement about the gaming experience."
