Following speculation that a rival gaming show is being organised for London in January next year, Novomatic has reaffirmed its commitment to Clarion's 2011 International Gaming Exhibition at Earl's Court.

Jens Halle, managing director of Novomatic’s subsidiary Austrian Gaming Industries, said: "IGE is the traditional European show for the international gaming industry, one of the largest gaming business events in the world and it is of great importance to the people who matter most: our customers.

"They tell us that they want to visit us in Earl’s Court in 2011 and we are happy to be able to react promptly and positively to their wishes."

Although AGI has confirmed its commitment to IGE in 2011, Halle acknowledged that there would be further discussions regarding the show’s venue for 2012 and beyond.

"Earl’s Court is our chosen venue for 2011 and any discussions regarding the show’s location for 2012 and beyond can now be held in a calm and considered manner," he continued. "In any case, the opinions and views of our customers will, as always for Novomatic, be a major factor in any such discussions."
