The Australasian Gaming Expo has been declared completely full by organisers Gaming Technologies Association.

The show is set for Sydney’s all-new International Convention Centre (ICC) on Darling Harbour from Tuesday, August 15, to Thursday, August 17.

GTA’s CEO Ross Ferrar told InterGaming that the exhibition’s return to the centre of the city had been long-awaited, following the old International Exhibition Centre being pulled down to make way for the ICC.

“This week, we start building the event," he said. "After five years of planning, it’s a pleasure and a challenge to be back at Darling Harbour – a pleasure because ICC Sydney is a great venue, and a challenge because we’re building many more stands than ever before. No effort has been spared to make sure that visitors will be dazzled and entertained by the event and its exhibitors. With digital show bags, cutting-edge signage, an "ask me" event team and many other new features, we’re making sure that visitors experience much more than they ever have before.”

The exhibition will also have a show daily newspaper for the first time, AGE Today, put together by the same InterGame team that is responsible for the highly-successful ICE Daily, put out during the London show.

AGE is already the largest in the 28-year history of the event.
